| Note | Extraordinary deep water specimen with phenomenal black/dark brown lateral walls, beautifully black/brown patterned dorsum with a wisp window of a blue/grey dorsum primary hue in the middle in a wide dorsal line. The shell is wide laterally, has a pitch black/brown base and framed with areas of burnt orange hued tuberculated anterior and posterior margins.The shell displays notable rostration, phenomenal dark and wondrous spotting, integrated with black maculae dorsally. Flawless base, excellent/superb nacre gloss and seamless extremities. Taken by Scuba diver deep at 30-40 meters south of Perth, Western Australia in 4/2020 while grazing on a reef sponge. The shell displays no detectable flaws. Grade: GEM. |
