| Note | Mature, super glossy, and beautifully developed specimen. It exhibits a symmetrical, balanced and splendid display of classic guttata dorsum spotting. The deep water specimen shows excellent form, symmetry and excellent nacre gloss. The shell presents with a heavy weight/size ratio (18.1 grams), a superb impressive base pattern with profound accentuated teeth and remarkable extended striping wrapping the margins and lateral walls. A standout and choice specimen among the species. Taken by fishermen off Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines using tangle nets at 120-150 meters in the 90s. Difficult to flaw this specimen. Grade: GEM. |
