| Note | Moderately-pigmented, mature with exceptionally thick margins, hyper-glazed specimen from the black Stansbury population. The specimen is highlighted by an dark dorsal black blotched color veil. The atrata features symmetrical form and balance. Moderate weight/size ratio (40.0 grams) with a beautiful base pattern. The specimen displays perfect siphons, base and hyper-black lateral walls. Diver collected using Scuba at 6-8 meters off Stansbury, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia circa 1995. Harvested from a red sponge on sand/rubble substrate amongst flagweed. The specimen shows no visible or palpable defects. Grade: GEM. |
