| Note | One interesting and very tall specimen of Trochita trochiformis, measuring 41.5 in width and 37.7 in height. These snails live on rocks and over the shells of other snail species. They usually have very ugly shells, but the specimen presented here is very nice for the species, it has a nice color, it partially preserves its periostracum, and it has an almost perfect septum (as can be seen in the photos). A low initial price for an interesting species. |
