| Note | Stunning pink bakeri collected from a beige funnel sponge in 188 metres of water west south west of Mandurah during February 2025. A glossy peach coloured shell with high cloudy sides. Graded Fine+++ due to a couple of well re-glazed teeth marks as indicated by the green arrows in the dorsal photo. The shell has a odd darker patch on it's labial side. This doesn't really look like a defect. The shell simple secreted darker nacre at this location. One of the very few bakeri that is free from dorsal growth defects. Lovely warm pink shell. |
