| Note | Exquisite shell with excellent sculpturing of the body whorl including extraordinary, intricate wide and fluted varices. The shell has striking cantaloupe and tangerine orange hues, perfect aperture lip and siphonal canal. The rare quality specimen was taken local fisherman using tangle nets at 100-150 meters on muddy sand/coral rubble substrate off Balut Island, Mindanao, Philippines in 9/2017. The shell exhibits negligible blemishes. Grade: GEM minus. |
