| Note | Solid, good weight and lovely pattern characterize this unique gorgeous beauty from a remote locale. The shell has a glossy nacre and an excellent blotched/dashed spiral pattern glowing with a blush/brick red primary body whorl hue. The shell demonstrates a flawless apex, spire and natural lip. The beautiful cone was collected by Scuba diver Paul Kanner on sand bottom at 20 meters off Collette Bay, Nuka Hiva, Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia in 11/ 2003. The specimen has a soft growth fold buried in the pattern mid-dorsal. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
