Note | Large, dark and exceptionally blue hued specimen from near La Paz, Baja, Mexico. The shell is moderately heavy, with acceptable nacre gloss, perfect body whorl and spire. The solid ocean blue color is exquisite, with three, standout brown-toned and patterned bands.. The specimen was captured by the late/great Scuba diver Paul Kanner in shallow water off Cerralvo Island, Baja, Mexico in 5/1986. The shell exhibits mini-chips along the mid and anterior natural lip. Grade: F+++. |
