NoteHere is a SUPRB LARGE example of the rare deeper-water Z.marginata from Rottnest Island. The SUPER INFLATED SHAPE is untypical of the species which generally produces smaller depressed shell but makes for an EXQUISITE shell. The SOFT PINK dorsum has a light scattering of feint speckles across the dorsum and much darker GREY/PINK FLARED margins running around the shell! GEM- condition with a minute completely re-glazed graze on the edge of the base/margin on the labral side. Very hard to see and doesn't effect the shells beauty at all. Live taken on white Geodia sp.B sponge on the side of a limestone wall at 22m. 3 NM North of Rottnest Island W.A. March 2025 *White marks are from camera reflection. Please ask about further images*
