The thersites displays absolutely impeccable nacre, perfect extremities, modest rostration and a beautiful grey/cream dorsum primary hue. The flared margins show moderate tuberculation and flaring. A remarkable superb specimen without sand grains and blemishes Taken by Scuba diver at 8-12 meters from the upper range of the Spencer Gulf, off Whyalia, South Australia circa 90s. The shell shows no identifiable defects. Grade: GEM. |
