For offer here is a SUPER PALE, UNIQUE example of Z.venusta episema. Typically specimens from the Rottnest Island area are known for their large, bulbous size, this shell breaks the norm being of a much SMALLER SIZE and slightly more slender in stature. The VIBRANT GOLD BASE present here is one of the key characteristics in the V.episema population of which differentiates it from the sorrentensis form. It has a SUPER RARE PALE PATTERN of which is a WHITE background colour with soft brown blotches positioned randomly across the dorsum. A SUPERB UNIQUE SHELL of which has come direct from our personal collection! Gem-/F+++ with a small growth line on the side of the dorsum. Live taken amongst sponges and various marine growths on the side of a massive limestone cavern wall at 22m. North East of Rottnest Island, W.A. March 2021 *White marks are from camera reflection.
