| Note | Here is a SUPERB BLUE example of this highly variable form of friendii from the shallows of Geographe Bay. A VIBRANT BLUE background colour is scarcely covered with soft, small brown spots and a couple of larger DARK BLOTCHES which make for an INCREDIBLE PATTERN! Gem/Gem- with maybe some minor lines but mainly precautionary. Live taken on a small red paddle sponge on the underside of a large limestone overhang at 9m. Off Forrest Beach, Geographe Bay, W.A.
