Note | Highly inflated, solid, semi-rostrate, hyper-mature large specimen with a faint dorsal line. Large fully glossed specimen, with a desirable apricot/peach/gold dorsal blotch, and radically large recurved posterior terminal. Excellent size to weight ratio, impressive symmetry and inflated form (132.3 grams). The gastropod was captured off the Great Australian Bight, Eucla, Western Australia on sand substrate at 140-150 meters in 1999. The shell presents an unusual depression/fold the posterior columellar ramp and a small repaired area on the anterior labral margin. Grade: F++/F+++. |
