| Note | Exceptional specimen with strong nacre gloss, brilliant patterning and high weight/size ratio (56.3 grams). The thick margins show large marginal spots, moderate posterior tuberculation with perfect extremities. The colors are brilliant, with a neon orange aperture teeth and a flawless dorsum and base. It is very rare for a P.I. geographica to have this reddish/pink coloration. Collected by compression diver at 12-15 meters off Palawan Island, Philippines in 5/2012. Grade: GEM. |
