| Note | Characteristic specimen with a large distinctive blotch mid-dorsum accentuated by the pale bluish primary color and faintly blotched extremity tips. The specimen shows a strong glossy nacre, excellent extremities, wide and inflated dorsum and pristine porcelainized base with pronounced teeth expansion. The pattern on this brevidentata is a classic for the species, making it a prime specimen for cypraea collectors. Captured by free diver at 1-1.5 meters feeding on algae under rocks at Dingo Beach, Queensland, Australia in 9/1985. Grade: GEM. |
