NoteHyper-mature, superbly nacred, hyper-calloused and rostrated beauty from the Red Sea. Moderately heavy and solid pyriform specimen with magnificent thick callousing on both margins that climb the lateral walls presenting a memorable form and balanced anatomical features (38.6 grams). Dark primary tawny brown color with an astounding distribution of white spotting with four dark subtle dorsal bands. A classic collectable. Captured by Scuba diver at night in 25-30 meters nested on coral reef sponges off Shalateen, Egypt in 3/2020. There exist some negligible subnacre folds on the posterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus.
