| Note | Superbly pigmented specimen with deep crimson/brick and ruby red patterning. The specimen displays a pure porcelain white aperture with prominent columellar plaits, perfect natural lip and protoconch. Excellent weight/size ratio, profound vertical ribs and intriguing axial striping. Collected by Scuba diver at 10-15 meters on sand between reefs off Tangalle, Sri Lanka in 2012. The specimen has a two growth creases on the anterior spire. Grade: F+++. |
