| Note | On offer is a SUPERB, SUPER RARITY missing from most collection! The true "GINGER/ARMENIACA FORM" of Z.venusta from off Rottnest Island. Known for their mostly darker pigmented shells, the waters off the Northern side of the island very occasionally produce a ginger/orange coloured shell such as this. This shell is a beautiful APRICOT/PEACH colour all over with darker ORANGE SPOTS across the dorsum which is surrounded by PINK/PURPLE MARGINS. A VIBRANT GOLDEN base completes this shell which has a classic BULBOUS SHAPE of shells from the area and will be a stand out piece in any collection around the world! Gem/Gem- condition with some very, very, very minor lines but that is purely precautionary and most people would call this GEM. Live collected on a small orange host sponge on the side of a medium limestone overhang in high profile reef at 22m. 3 Nautical Miles North of Rottnest Island, W.A. April 2022.
