| Note | One very nice and large specimen of Trochita trochiformis. These snails live on rocks and on the shells of other snail species. They usually have very ugly shells, but the present specimen is very nice, with a nice dorsum preserving most of its periostracum and with minimal defects, but having a slightly damaged septum (lip) (septums are very often broken, and I have seen many specimens online with very broken septums). A low initial price for an interesting and hard to obtain specimen of Trochita trochiformis. |
