Paradusta hungerfordi - THE BEST HUNGERFORDI? , (G. B. Sowerby III, 1888)
Size
31.2 mm
Locality
East China Sea
Note
A fairly common species in the trawls from East China Sea, but this particular specimen is an extreme example of this species with high callous margin and great weight to size ratio. From the golden time of East China Sea which is almost impossible to replace nowaday, from an old collection and was in my personal collection. Although the listed price is quite high for this species, but this is literally what I paid for. GEM except a few tiny sand inclusion and light water marks.
