NoteThe Anomia ephippium has attached its self onto the Pecten maximus and and has completely taken over the shape of the pecten in its growth process. I had to be very careful when cleaning the very fragile Anomia simplex, but the result is beautiful! I am very glad to be able to offer these two shells which form a beautiful unit.Live collected after very strong winds!
