NoteHere is a great opportunity to acquire a RARELY OFFERED Notocypraea from the cold waters off the Southern end of Tasmania. The DARK GREY dorsum is covered with a UNIFORM SMATTERING of fine dots which is split by a fine MANTLE LINE. The dorsum is surrounded with a rather THICKLY CALLOUSED MARGIN met by BLACK TERMINALS at either end. A SUPERB SHELL which is certainly missing from most collections and unlikely to become readily available in the future is not to be missed! Gem-/F+++ with a couple of soft lines on the dorsum but otherwise perfect. Live taken under large dolerite boulder on sloping, kelp reef at 12m. Off North Bruny Island, South East Tasmania.
