| Note | THE HIGHEST DORSUM COMBINED WITH LOGEST SPINES IN DORSUM EVER!! Seldom seen species with such a high dorsal body, great combination to compare with a classic one. The elevated dorsum combined with really thick long spines are making of this a real crazy wall together. Special form and great beauty. Crazy thick lip and extra curved siphon and the best thick shiny lines black bands almost all around. There is a scar in the ventral side between one of the varices and almost repaired by the shell itself, drill hole near apex and some absent spines around the spire , not really detracting the beauty of this crazy unique elevated body form and long thick unusual spines. F++-F+++. For any MURICIDAE lovers! For advancer collectors. Found attached between stones with mud about 6-10m deep. Playa Piratas near Arroyo Seco, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2025.
