| Note | This form of ketyana we find in the same area as we
collect praeclara off the southern Zuytdorp Cliffs.
They are consistently small pretty shells with basal colours varying from orange like lutea to burnt
orange like type ketyana. Described as a
ketyana variant by Marco Chiapponi in the last few
months. This lovely specimen was ROV collected from 78 metres of water during May 2024 west of the Southern Zuytdorp Cliffs
in Western Australia. A lovely creamy
coloured shell and mottled tan dorsum with a golden base borded with black tiger stripes. Graded Fine+++ as the dorsum is a little growthy. |
