| Note | GEM. Conus cernohorskyi and Conus striolatus are hard to distinguish. This specimen definitely has the shape of C. cernohorskyi as described by da Motta: quite broad. The original description is confusing as on the plate, two holotypes are indicated and we don't know which one went to Geneva, (which was wrongly spelled as Genova in the description). This specimen has virtually the same coloration as the holotype in figure 13. A magnificent large item, all in white and orange, and uppermost interesting from a taxonomic point of view. Rare, few similar ones known in the world.
