| Note | One nice and large specimen of the recently described species Ensis loboi Signorelli, Trovant & Márquez, 2022. This is a striking species with a very large and elongated shell. Only recently this species was distinguished from Ensis macha, another species from southern South America, from which it differs in several conchological characteristics. This particular specimen was washed ashore during a tidal surge and it is very good condition for the species, with only a few chips in the borders of the shell as can be seen in the images, and it is still preserving its periostracum. This is your opportunity to obtain a nice newly-described species from the southeastern Pacific for a very low initial price. |
