| Note | Large robust specimen and superb heavy example of this North Pacific cold-water subspecies. Presents with intact protoconch, spire and siphonal canal. Beautiful banding pattern as shown in the images with elegant form and ruffling of the wings. Collected by Scuba diver at 12-15 meters while feeding on a oyster bed south off Posiet Bay, 150 kilometers south of Vladivostok, Russia, Sea of Japan. The specimen has signs of erosion of the anterior siphonal tip. Grade: F+++/ GEM minus. |
