| Note | Large and lovely balanced specimen with impressive orchid violet/pink foliaceous varices and pink protoconch/spire, shared with a multi-shaded hued light violet/yellow body whorl and a striking dark violet aperture and anterior siphon. The colors are notable, considering the long time since collection. Perfect apex, spire and intact foliaceous processes. The specimen exhibits excellent balanced form and features. Collected by tangle net at 100-200 meters by local fisherman in the early 80's off Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines. Procured from old collection. The specimen is difficult to flaw.
