Note | Large hyper-pigmented specimen with distinctive, attractive dorsal maculae and blotches. Dark and attractive, strong nacre gloss and standout example of the west coast Zoila. Black/dark brown lateral walls, perfect extremities and base complement this specimen. Sourced and collected by Scuba diver at 20-30 meters in 2004. The shell was taken off Mangroove Point, Broome, Western Australia. The specimen displays a glazed/nacred indentation on the mid-lateral wall as seen in the lower right image. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
