| Note | Magnificent crystal glossed specimen with a remarkable cream/beige overcast and unique dorsal blotch. The entire shell and pattern are enclosed in a thick prominent nacre. Rare to find these desirable variations in close to immaculate condition. Highly collectable and strong weight variation of this Atlantic Ocean beauty (62.6 grams). The shell shows strong rostration, thick margins, perfect extremities and base. Taken by diver in shallow water off Pointe des Almadies, Dakar, Senegal, West Africa at 1-2 meters between rocks. The Trona displays one shallow mid-dorsum wobble and one mini anterior ramp blemish. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
