| Note | Solid, moderately heavy specimen, with a brilliantly blue/flesh colored dorsum. The shell features a brilliant collection of sparse, brilliantly distributed maculae with a thick world-class hyper-glossy nacre (50.0 grams) . Terrific dorsal pattern with a strong distribution of maculae, super thick callus, with truly memorable blue dorsal pigmentation. The shell shows moderate/notable tuberculated thick margins with perfect extremities and base. Collected by Scuba diver Callum Edinger off Point Quobba, Western Australia. Callum's original hand-written data slip included. The gastropod was feeding on spiirastrella sponge in 5/2021 when captured. There is a glazed micro-pinhead sand inculsion on the anterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus. |
