| Note | F+++. Rare and interesting. A very rare shell of which there has been no supply since many years. This shell probably dates back from much before 1990. This is a rather large specimen of an unnamed local form on which RKK write: “Unnamed local forms of C. erythraeensis are known from Aden and from Massawa, Eritrea...... while specimens from Massawa reach only 16-24 mm in length” They figure on pl. 36 the Massawa form on figs. 11-12. This shell is well sized, fully adult, has a little freakish shape of the spire.
