| Note | Pitch black top with a subtle dorsal line, the specimen is outstanding. Highly collectable variation of this east Atlantic Ocean beauty. Moderately heavy specimen with deep nacre luster with excellent extremity form with thick margins. The shell shows dark lateral walls with superb intense spotting complemented by a perfect base. This semi- niger variation is a highly collectible addition to any advanced collection. Taken by diver in shallow water off Pointe des Almadies, Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. The Trona displays some negligible subnacre blemishes. Grade: GEM minus. |
