| Note | Elongate, moderately inflated specimen with a classic chocolate caramel dorsum overall pigmentation with an interesting/exceptional display array of dark brown maculae. The lateral walls show intense caramel, rich chocolate hues with mixed sparse lateral wall spotting. Similarly, the base shows various caramel brown shades that accentuate the porcelain white aperture and teeth. A beautiful specimen with a thick glossy nacre and rich brown/caramel hued extremities. Scuba diver taken at 9-10 meters off Whitford, Western Australia in 2002. The specimen exhibits micro silt stains located on the labral base/ aperture teeth transition area. Grade F+++/GEM. |
