NoteCrabbed shell collected by ROV in 192 metres of water North of the Perth Trench during April 2025. Australasia collected in deeper water across Southern Australia are consistently different from their inshore counter parts. They are quite nodulous and paler. Perhaps they justify the status of a new form or subspecies. We collect very few specimens.
