GEM. A SPECIAL COLOR shell. For obvious reasons we divided now the the Kioconus voluminalis in three subspecies: the K. voluminalis s.s. from Thailand, the K. voluminalis macarae for the Philippine shells from Masbate and Negros and the K. voluminalis filicinctus for the dark colored population from the southern Philippines. This is a highly unusual shell which is speckled all over.
