| Note | One very nice specimen of Macandrevia americana, a deep water brachiopod found in most circumantarctic waters and offshore Chilean coasts. This specimens was collected alive attached to a rock which was entangled in a longline in very deep water (about 2200 m depth) off northern Chile. This specimen was collected at the northernmost location for the species, off Tal Tal, northern Chile. Unfortunately the specimen has some damage to one valve, as can be seen in the images, hence the very low initial price. |
