Item | # 0003691116 |
Family | Pectinidae |
Name | Argopecten purpuratus - Very Nice, Selected , (Lamarck, 1819) |
Size | 117 mm |
Locality | Caldera, northern Chile |
Note | One very nice and large specimen of the only pectinid species found in northern Chile: Argopecten purpuratus. I am offering several specimens from the same batch: they were collected alive by a diver at about 20 m depth. They are very selected, as they have some very small deffects and they have natural dorsums (some with more barnacles than others) which were lightly cleaned with only soft brushes and water. I am presenting them all at a very low initial price. |
