| Note | SPECIAL DARK SPOTTED BANDED!! The most beautiful thick banded spots from almost the lip to the dorsal side and between there is a clear tiny line dividing the bands and then continue and going to the ventral side. Majestic fresh dark colors all around with the best sculpture and thick lip. Complete seldom seen apex, lip, siphon and rare original operculum. Intact conditions except for the natural grow marks something very usual for this species. F+++. Do not miss this masterpiece. These mysterious species are usually buried under the granular sand in the coastal zone, between 1m to 10m deep, but they are usually in areas where there are sea urchins, which is what they like the most. But they are nocturnal and are rarely seen hunting during the day. Some are 1cm under the sand but in extreme cases and growth I have found them up to 30cm under the sand. The incredible bright orange animal with bright colors makes you think they are dangerous. I consider this species to be rare after so many years of searching for them in their territory. They are also solitary, which makes them more difficult to find, especially when they are buried, resting or growing. F+++. Found eating sea urchin between rocks at extremely low tide.
