| Note | F++. An exceptional size for this rare conidae that has been collected at night at 25 m deep cruising on a substrate of small pebbles. Unfortunately this specimen has his lip damaged but has been repaired by the animal. The damage isn't sharp and you can see that some layers of mother-of-pearl has been deposited and the lip start to be reconstituted.
The specimen is still very nice, with a very nice color and an impressive size.
Without this flaw, his value can be greater than 1500 euros. |
