| Note | DARK BROWN COLOR FORM!! Exceptional Museum conditions WOOOOW!! So hard to get with the highest level like this one offered here. Really beautiful dark brown color form with superb complete seldom seen spines and fully adult thick lip. Spiny form specimen for every aesthetic collectors. Between the longest spines of the lip there are two with an unusual curvature, something very unusual and unique with elegance. Homalocnatha oxyacantha with unique and extraordinary spines. Most of them are very ugly and uncomplete in general, but here the real good ones , do not miss this unique opportunity. This species can usually reach sizes over 70mm on the Central American side and has a wide distribution from Mexico to Peru. In Mexico there are large sizes as well but most populations are small but truly adult individuals, larges sizes are always broken, with several erosion and no spines. I have found congregations of up to 20 individuals mating and they are less than 30mm sometimes. But they are usually solitary. The real thing for this seldom seen species and so hard to clean with ultrasonic. For advancer collectors. The best dark spiny with rare complete intact spines. Gem-F+++. Found in muddy bottom inside a dark caves about 6m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. April 2025. Value for this Museum conditions and Stunning dark color form: 40-45 euro.
