Note | One very nice, but beached, specimen of Solatia buccinoides, a very rare shallow water Cancellariidae endemic from the SE Pacific Ocean, from Peru and Chile. This specimen was collected among coarse sand dredged at about 2 m depth at Calderilla, northern Chile. The specimen has a very nice sculpture and nice lip and apex, as can be seen in the images. A very low initial price for a very rare endemic Cancellariidae species. |
