Note | Here is a lovely DARK COLOURED pair of this uncommon species. The dark red/brown pattern is separated by lovely CLEAR, WELL DEFINED LUCANAE and has a soft BLUE HALO on the larger shell. Both shells are Gem-, Larger shell has a single partial growth line on the dorsum and the smaller shell has some markings on the base (all of which is visible in the images provided) but both present wonderfully well. Live taken from the same small red host sponge on low profile sponge garden at 13m. Dampier Archipelago, W.A. October 2024 *White marks are from camera reflection. Please ask about further images* |
