| Note | This uncommon deep water cone shows remarkable balanced form, symmetry and nacre gloss. Classic displays a China-white body whorl primary hue with caramel brown flammules. The shell showa three strong flammule-based bands ventrally that evolve into two sparse bands dorsally. The shell has a thick natural lip, minimized spire and the slightest body whorl folds. The shell was trawled at 50-60 meters south of Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico circa 1980. Grade: GEM minus. |
