| Note | Exceedingly large specimen of this most uncommon Naquetia species. The shell is solid, with marvelous axial sculpture, strong cording complemented by countless nodules and a most superb leading varix. Dominant is the strong walnut brown/cream tan multicolored banding of the body whorl, varix, and axial sculptures. The shell was taken by Scuba diver at 32-34 meters off Anae Island, Guam, western Pacific mid-1975. The specimen is hard to fault. Grade: GEM. |
