| Note | Bulbous and inflated oval shaped specimen with calloused margins, coarse teeth and excellent nacre gloss. The shell has a classic large dorsal blotch, two strong dorsal sharpe ridges encasing the blotch and gray/light blue primary body whorl color. The specimen shows distinct marginal blotches and is an impressive specimen by most standards. The shell was trawled and live taken off Friday Island, Torres Straights, northern Queensland, Australia circa 2005. Grade: GEM. |
