| Note | Large and inflate specimen, with wonderfully patterned dorsum with blue/gray/flesh/pinkish primary hues and a golden brown lateral line. It's large size, thick rich nacre, perfect extremities make this an excellent representative from the Red Sea. The strong coral orange/pinkish spotting on both margins is remarkable.. The pantherina was found in 5/2021 off Shalateen, Egypt by Scuba diver on night dive at 25-30 meters near a coral reef outcropping on sand. The specimen has a few subnacre blemishes and a subdued nacre gloss. The specimen is fresh Dead Collected. Grade: Remarkably good. |
