| Note | Notably globular and inflated, humped specimen with strong posterior and anterior marginal tubercles and marginal flaring. Interesting collage of dorsal spot patterning with excellent and flawless extremities. The specimen is glossy wonderful example of the subspecies. This subspecies is primarily located in a limited area of southern Australia and recently taken specimens have not been encountered. Taken by Scuba diver while feeding on red sponges at 14 meters off Evans Island, Ceduna, South Australia in 2000. Some mcro-sand grain inclusions on the anterior ramp and a glazed inclusion on the anterior columellar base. Grade F+++/GEM minus. |
