| Note | GEM. Selected and rare. The best one out from vintage collection. This cute species of sometimes great beauty lives from Los Angeles city south to the Gulf of California, Mexico, Panama, and down to Nicaragua and Peru. The color varies from a a pure pointillè to flecked with quite some dark browns and flecks. For some reason nice quality Ximenes are not so easy to find. When in fine+ to gem, a pleasure to have. There is little collecting in the area going on, which explains the scarcity of this species in the markets.
