F+++. EXPERTS RECOGNIZED A NEW SPECIES IN THE HAWAIIAN MILIARIS. What we have here is a true fulgetrum collected in 1980 - by now 45 years ago, but in nice and fresh condition. The true fulgetrum is extremely hard to get as modern supply of Okinawa is minimal. The type locality of the true fulgetrum is Amami Oshima Island. This is between the south of Japan and Okinawa-jima. So, the present shell comes from the more southern part of the small range. A rarity in collections.
